JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Loan Processing Coordinator to join our Farm Credit family! This position is crucial to our organization and our lending process by work closely with our customers and association staff to exceed customer expectations through pre-loan closing activities to deliver loans with accurate and legally compliant documentation. Collaboration and working as a team will be essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
Lending Loan Processing Support: Support the sales/lending staff by preparing and verifying loan documents, commitment letters, loan disclosures, closing papers, loan treatments and other required time-sensitive information prior to loan closings. Communicate and act as liaison with third parties (attorneys, appraisers, insurance agents) and support the loan closing process in collaboration with loan officer. Assist in reviewing and ensuring loan documents are complete and accurate after loan closings. Follow up with all parties involved to ensure all documents need for the loan files are received, scanned, and stored efficiently and properly. Submit various loan maintenance forms as needed.
Customer Service Support: Work with the team in reaching business plan goals and objectives. Ensure existing and potential customers receive prompt, courteous service, and provides general information as to policies and procedures. Perform administrative duties to support the operations of the branch location as needed. Ensure daily accounting activities including receipts and disbursements are handled properly, accurately, and timely. Complete system maintenance of customer or loan information as needed. Verify assigned location reports and maintenance system, if needed.
Location/Administrative Support (Primary/Back up): Assist with general administrative duties to support the operations of the branch location. Support and assist with local level public relations. Ensure that internal controls are maintained in accordance with loan operations and accounting principles, policies, and procedures. Partner and collaborate with branch team members, marketing staff, and facilities manager.
Position Requirements
• High school diploma, associate degree or equivalent relevant experience preferred
• Loan related administrative work or some customer service related experience
• Good knowledge of general office routine and use of office equipment, including phones, computers, copiers, and scanners
• Ability to communicate (written and verbal) effectively with team and branch contacts
• Self-motivated, with the ability and desire to learn and willingness to apply new procedures and concepts
• Effective, basic, and efficient computer/technical skills and use of Microsoft Office programs
