About the role:

As a Flex Loan Specialist, you'll be the friendly voice guiding and educating our borrowers on home loan process. You'll initiate the first step in the home buying journey and set the stage for a successful partnership.

Don't have a mortgage background? No sweat - this role is an entry level position within our company where mortgage experience is a plus but not a necessity.

Here's a quick snapshot of what your days might look like:

• Educate borrowers on loan process and product/service alternatives.
  
• Interview borrowers and obtain and/or verify information and documentation.
  
• Analyze borrower credit for pre-approval or denial of loan applications.
  
• Make initial contact and respond promptly to customer inquiries to collect borrower financial and credit information.
  
• Process borrower credit information through online approval system.
  
• Inform borrowers on future loan documentation requests, including borrowers' income and asset information.
  
• Actively contribute to making the team and culture stronger by assisting with other duties as needed.
  

Flex Loan Specialists have a schedule outside of normal business hours. They have the flexibility to set their own schedule. This is a full-time position; however, those hours can be worked anytime of their choosing, within the following guidelines:

• Anytime between 12PM-10PM Monday through Friday and anytime between 8AM-10PM Saturday and Sunday.
  
• Flex Loan Specialists are required to work 2 nights a week until 10PM.
  
• Flex Loan Specialists are required to work at least 32 weekend hours per month.
