JOB SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Clerk primary function is to maintain the spare parts inventory cage by demonstrating responsibility and showing initiative in taking ownership of his/her fulfilling duties.
II.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
· Become proficient in the use of JD Edwards P&E module for tracking parts quantities and ordering parts.
· Perform cycle counts and investigate any found variances.
· Ordering parts based on established stock levels.
· Receive parts and stock in proper locations.
· Document and record vendor returns and offsite repairs.
· Tracking orders and making sure orders are received in a timely manner.
· Doing research as needed to aid techs in finding the correct parts.
· Maintain technical manuals.
· Maintaining the stock area clean and organized.
· Assist with scheduling forklift repairs.
· Consistently deliver the best in customer service. As an employee, demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy in each encounter with customers, visitors and other employees.
· Champion AWC’s mission, vision, and values; comply with the policies and procedures, ethical standards and code of conduct set forth by the company.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Education:
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience:
Must have previous experience in parts room management.
Previous in JD Edwards software a plus
Skills:
Proficiency in Windows based computer software
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must have a strong work ethic.
Ability to work with all levels of management and labor.
Must have knowledge of machinery and equipment components both mechanical and electrical.
Bi-lingual in English/Spanish is preferred.
