Position: Manager, Advanced Analytics

Job Location: 221 River Street, Hoboken, NJ, 07030

Duties: Drive strategic analysis of omni-channel campaigns for some of the largest advertiser in the world. Leverage understanding of business objectives and how to align analytics insights with business goals to drive business outcomes. Leverage tools like Tableau and SQL to derive both tactical and strategic insights and communicate them back both internally and with advertisers' senior leadership. Create and lead client-facing analysis, including calls and in-person presentations, to drive data-driven best practices, recommendations, and guidance for Walmart Connect's top advertisers. Assist in managing the interpretation, analytics reporting, and analysis for key insights and performance recommendations with Walmart advertisers. Deliver causal insights and measurement impacts through the duration of media planning, including strategy, optimization, and campaign completion. Perform hands-on analysis and conduct in-depth investigations with the team, execute end-to-end measurement projects, and make actionable recommendations to the business. Assist in process improvement initiatives to scale data and measurement solutions. Contribute with building measurement and analytics tools and platforms that reflect the best and most appropriate solutions available. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and Walmart's offerings related to advanced analytics to inform clients of future strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Campaign Managers, Product, and Ad Operations to ensure that analytics insights are integrated into business decision-making processes. Assist Senior Leadership with developing the skills and expertise of team members through coaching, mentoring, and training. Think outside the box and experiment with new tools and methodologies to improve analytics capabilities and uncover new insights. Prioritize tasks to ensure deadlines are met and projects are completed on time. This position does not supervise employees.

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or the equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Technology Management, or related field; OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Technology Management, or related field and 2 years of experience in data analytics or related field.

Skills required: Experience analyzing large data sets using GCP Big Query. Experience using Microsoft (MS) Excel, including the following functions: VLOOKUP, Index Match, Pivot Tables, Logical Statements (IF, AND, OR, SUMIFS), Data Validations, and Regression Analysis. Experience designing and building dashboards for data visualizations using Tableau and Datorama. Experience with query writing for data analysis and data manipulations using SQL. Experience implementing A/B Testing, Experimentation Design, Lift Testing, Incrementality Testing and Multivariate Testing. Experience using measurement frameworks to deliver actionable insights. Experience with omnichannel marketing, attribution, and ROI measurement, including performance and awareness of online advertising. Experience using Digital Analytics platforms to track and measure website performance using Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics. Demonstrated knowledge of marketing strategies, advertising channels, and customer acquisition methods. Experience analyzing data and making predictions using the following statistical concepts and models: hypothesis testing, trend analysis, Randomized Controlled Trials (RCT), regression analysis, and Market Mix Modeling (MMM). Experience managing and optimizing digital advertising campaigns using the following AdTech and MarTech tools: Google AdWords, DV360, Trade Desk, and Social Media Ad Managers. Demonstrated knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) strategies, including how to conduct keyword research, optimize content, and manage paid search campaigns. Experience with project management and high-volume reporting and analysis requests. Experience managing client relationships and delivering insights that meet client needs and expectations.
