Job Summary

The Manager, Change Enablement will partner with Retail Business Optimization and retail business leaders to drive change efforts and adoption across the organization. This position is responsible for independently leading the design, development, and execution of comprehensive strategies for change-related cultural health, large scale, and highly complex initiatives across the organization. This position will consult with leaders to align desired changes to business strategy and lead stakeholders through effective transition from current state to future state.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver change enablement solutions to large, high priority, and/or highly complex initiatives to improve the probability of successful project delivery and ensure benefit realization.
  • Provide formal support and coaching to business partners within the Change Enablement portfolio of services.
  • Develop and apply structured methodologies to elevate team delivery of change strategy/activities for organizational culture change and strategic initiatives across all parts of the organization.
  • Drive and support the development and delivery of actionable change efforts, including communication, training, cultural readiness, organizational design, adoption, and leadership alignment.
  • Support change efforts that define, embrace, and celebrate our organizational culture. Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities, facilitate conversations, and drive execution of solutions that improve change health.
  • Develop and maintain trusted and highly effective working relationships with key leaders and change agents across the organization. Provide consulting and coaching to help increase organizational capability and capacity for change. Educate and enable business leaders, project team leaders, and team members in deploying change management principles and best practices.
  • Serve in an advisory capacity to business leaders. Consult with leaders and project team members to identify issues impacting leadership effectiveness, organizational health and/or successful implementation, and provide strategic advice on resolution.
  • Drive understanding of business strategy among change management team members to ensure alignment and effective sequencing of operational plans and change initiatives.
  • Own efforts to educate business leaders and partners on the change management discipline and increase overall organizational capability for change.
Experience and Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, strategic leadership, organizational development, engineering, or other related field preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years progressive experience in change enablement, change management, organizational change, and/or transformation
  • Change Certification preferred
  • Experience with change methodologies such as Lean Change Management, PROSCI, and/or Kotter strongly preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Deep knowledge and demonstrated application of change principles, practices, methodologies, and tools
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with a variety of different individuals ranging from front line associates to executive leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and independently deliver on high complexity assignments
  • Exceptional presentation, facilitation, written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to develop compelling messaging for diverse audiences
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team environment, with proven ability to build strong relationships and deliver effective change solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and coaching to motivate and retain team members
  • High degree of integrity and ability to handle confidential matters and sensitive situations with discretion
  • Ability to successfully navigate within varying degrees of ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills with high level of attention to detail
  • Proficient with business productivity tools (e.g. MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint)

  • Perform other functions, duties and projects as assigned
  • Regular and punctual attendance
  • Some travel may be required (less than 10%)
