Marketing Manager I

BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Marketing Manager I for a Remote opportunity!

Position Title: Marketing Manager I

Location: Remote

Anticipated Start Date: 01/05/2024

Expected Duration: 12+ Months

Job Type: Contract (>=30 HRS WEEKLY)

Pay Range: $53 - $58

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Role Mandate:

The individual will be focused on supporting Client social handles (Threads), supporting AI / RL narrative around innovation, content research engagement goals, and supporting in creating content.

Role Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

* Coming up with ideas on social creatives - determine what is trending on platforms

* From an international perspective, work on approvals and correct approval chains

* Provide first0line feedback based on knowledge and expertise

* Tactical operational tasks, such as editorial calendar management and reviews and approvals of our global content

* Accomplishes marketing human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling and coaching employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures

* Achieves marketing operational objectives by contributing marketing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change

* Meets marketing financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions

* Identifies marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share

* Improves product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities; improving product packaging; coordinating new product development

* Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends

* Accomplishes marketing and organization mission by completing related results as needed

Soft Skills:

* Strong verbal and written communication skills - considering the scale of the audience

* Ability to multi-task

* Customer service skills and interpersonal skills

* Ability to work independently

* Strong organizational and time management skills (ability to take a task from start to finish and see it through all the right checks and balances)

* Ability to keep information organized and confidential

* Strong attention to detail

Must-Have Skills:

* Provide creative samples of their work

* Actively managed social content for a brand

* Experience with XFN coordination to scale (experience working with large XFNs)

* Strong copywriting skills

Nice-to-Have Skills:

* Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

* Someone who knows socials - in the trends, is on the internet

* Creators - people who create their own social content

Educational Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or journalism

Skills Assessment:

* 3 Rounds (different team members), 30 minutes each
