RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Fremont, CA that is seeking a Materials Planner.Responsibilities:- The Materials Planner will support shipments for new produce by coordination engineering owned material to appropriate shipping locations
- Manage reservations for material staged in inventory location,
- Establish and maintain a strong relationship between Program/Product Management, Engineering, Production Control, and Supply Chain
- Ad hoc reporting as needed by Product group
- The Materials Planner will participate in cross functional teams and communicate delivery issues related to the build schedule
- Coordinate materials transfers/movement from engineering in unrestricted inventory locations
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel using VLOOKUPs and formulas
- Familiar with creating PowerPoint presentations, maneuvering in SharePoint and SAP
- To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
- Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
- Project management experience
- Ability to read and interpret multi-level product BOMs
- Must be a self starter and be able to work/collaborate with other team members
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Able to write clear emails directions actions for inventory movement between warehouses, production floor or Engineer desk
- Ability to demonstrate problem solving and critical thinkin skills
- Knowledge of SAP transactions like MD04, MB51, LS24, ME27, MB21, MB22 and MB23
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
