Job Summary: The Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Manager in overseeing multi-family construction projects from inception to completion. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing project timelines, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and assisting in budget management.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Project Manager in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project specifications are met.
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager.
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets and schedules.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress and quality of work.
Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation and records.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in the multi-family sector.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Valid driver's license.
