MINE ELECTRICAL SUPERVISOR

Where will you work: Onsite at Carlsbad, NM (76 Rawhide Rd., Loving, NM 88256)

The Mine Electrical Supervisor supervises and coordinates activities of maintenance in an industrial setting. Assists workers in troubleshooting equipment problems based on observations and applying knowledge of past experience.

What you'll do?

• Demonstrates safety leadership and commitment by personally behaving in alignment with Mosaic's values and safety policies.
• Provide recognition for safe behavior and alternatively constructively coach employees to change behavior if there are non-compliance conditions.
• Completes field visits to mining areas to ensure that safety, mining, and housekeeping standards are maintained.
• Promotes safety by attending toolbox talks, monthly meetings, completing corrective actions, and completing LEGO observations and action plans.
• Works collaboratively with other departments on site for Carlsbad to 'Win Together'.
• Manage workflow implementation for the crew based on Mosaic standards.
• Coordinate safety, production, maintenance, and coordination issues.
• Supervises crews in the mine and handles all personnel issues such as vacation and record keeping in KRONOS.

• High school diploma/GED required.
• 3 years of underground mining experience preferred.
• 1+ year(s) of supervisory or lead hand position preferred.
• Must have above average safety record, attendance, and the ability to work with all departments required.
• Competency in KRONOS and SAP preferred.
• Must process strong leadership, communication skills, and be a team player.
