RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a MSBI/Power BI Consultant in Chandler, AZ.Duties:- MSBI/Power BI Consultant will interact with business teams and system analysts to understand business requirements and translate to value-add business intelligence solutions
- Design, build, and deploy BI solutions such as reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc data exploration
- Maintain and support data analytics platforms
- Use advanced analytics skills to generate and deliver quality reports to customers/clients in a professional, efficient, and timely manner
- Use strong communication skills to deliver analytic results and promote the use of BI tools across Iridium
- As a MSBI/Power BI Consultant, you will evaluate and improve existing BI systems
- Develop, analyze, and modify processes, data structures, and models to support analytic outcomes
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred
- 6+ years of proven experience in data science, business intelligence, or a similar role, preferably in a leadership capacity
- Experience with cloud data management platforms and architectures (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, AWS data & analytics tools, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights
- Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong proficiency in SQL and moderate proficiency in other data manipulation and analysis languages (Python, R, Scala, Java, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to build strong internal relationships and managing key stakeholders, including senior management
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences, facilitating understanding and buy-in
- Proactive and detail-oriented mindset, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines and work independently
- Continuous learning mindset, staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in data reporting and analytics
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
