Subject Matter Expert
Pay Rate: $45.00/hr. W2
Contract Duration: 4 Months
Onsite/Remote/Hybrid: Remote

Position Overview:
We are seeking a temporary subject matter expert with experience delivering professional learning and strong ties to New Mexico. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the state's educational landscape and cultural nuances. This role involves delivering impactful content, including presentations and resources, created by our client's Subject Matter Experts to educators, leaders, and families across New Mexico.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate professional learning sessions tailored to the needs of New Mexico's educators, leaders, and families.
- Deliver culturally relevant and inclusive content for in-person and virtual settings.
- Collaborate with lead client subject matter experts, Project Director and Project Managers to ensure alignment with project goals and state educational standards.
- Provide actionable feedback to improve training presentation and session outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, ensuring the success of professional development initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Native to New Mexico, with comprehensive knowledge of the state's culture, history, and educational needs.
- Experience delivering professional learning sessions to diverse audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt content to meet the needs of various stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and organized, with a commitment to delivering high-quality professional development.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in special education or with culturally responsive teaching practices.
- Familiarity with New Mexico's education system and community dynamics.
