Worcester Eisenbrandt (WEI) , a construction company specializing in historic restoration is seeking an experienced Bilingual Office Assistant for its human resources department.
BASIC FUNCTION:
Under the direction of the director, perform a variety of general clerical and translating duties in support of the human resources office; answer phones, translate oral and written communications from Spanish to English; assist in employee requests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
• Assist in monitoring the recruitment applicant tracking system, assist with birthday and anniversary notices to employees.
• Attend and translate for applicants in interviews, conferences and special events as assigned; prepare materials and schedule appointments for interviews; transcribe and translate..
• Compile and assemble a variety of information; prepare and maintain files and records related to HR office functions, financial activity and assigned duties;; establish and maintain filing systems; prepare a variety of reports related to assigned activities as requested.
• Input a variety of data into an assigned computer system; maintain various automated records and files; generate a variety of computerized forms, reports and documents; verify accuracy of input and output data.
• Perform a variety of general clerical duties in support of an assigned office and/or worksite settings including translating, typing, filing, duplicating and distributing materials; prepare and coordinate schedules and calendars as directed.
• Assist in Processing employee and/or student pto records and other related forms and documents in assigned area; communicate absences to designated personnel.
• Provide assistance with conferences, meetings, workshops and other events as directed.
• Receive, greet and direct visitors interested in employment. • Receive, sort and respond mail as assigned; prepare excel spread sheets for invoices.
• Respond to inquiries and provide a variety of general information and job posters to office staff for worksites,
• Translate communications
• Drive to purchase requirements for the office or documents to the worksites,
• Type and translate letters, forms, memoranda, agenda items, bulletins, reports, brochures, invitations, requests, and other materials from detailed or rough copy; review and verify the accuracy and completeness of various documents; compose routine correspondence; proofread completed typing assignments; process forms and applications.
