Job Profile Summary
Operations Coordinator coordinates, monitors and assists with improving service activities for an organization or group. Provides support to operations personnel and ensures services are effective and customer requirements and requests are met.

Key Responsibilities:
• Work with operations to schedule in client appointments into the facility and coordinate changes/exceptions and other required notifications.

• Document and maintain waste receipt/shipment records while ensuring the completeness, accuracy of all entries created - i.e. Waste Manifests, Bills of Lading, and work orders.

• Assist in creating, reviewing and approving waste profiles.

• Ensure appropriate data entry is completed and accurate.

• Hazardous Waste manifest and label generation.

• Facilitating Scheduling of inbound and outbound loads.

• Maintain a high level of organization in a fluid environment.

• Communicate and liaise with customers and vendors and regulatory entities.

• Assist with Biennial and Annual required reporting.

• Communicate with warehouse personnel to ensure compliance and record keeping is accurate.

• Assist with overseeing the proper handling, storage, transportation and disposal of hazardous materials in accordance with regulations.

• Respond to emergencies and help with spills clean-up, if necessary.

• Ensure all work complies with Safety Standards and all applicable Regulations • Maintain good working relationship with coworkers and customers.

• Some overtime required.
• Follow applicable regulations with regards to the transportation, receiving and management of waste.
• Prepare work orders based on confirmed service requests and complete billings following job execution and material acceptance with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Responsible for general customer/facility inquiries and direct to other appropriate parties.
• Receive, investigate, and effectively resolve customer complaints based on established policies and procedures with customer satisfaction focus and appropriate escalation.
• Advise clients and potential customers of regulation Requirements: pertaining to collection and transportation of waste material for disposal.
• General office administration including electronic and paper-based storage/filing.
• Assist with procurement and purchasing as required.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

• Chemical or Environmental bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience.

• Extensive RCRA and DOT knowledge in regard to hazardous waste.

• TSDF experience, profiling experience.

• CHMM preferred.

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop and foster relationship growth in a professional setting.

• Exemplary communication skills in oral and written English.

• Proficiency in Microsoft office suite including Word, Power Point and Outlook with emphasis on Excel.
• Strong listening, negotiation, presentation, and client facing ability.
• Ability to independently resolve problems within one's scope of authority and understanding of when to escalate to superiors.
• Solid personal integrity and dedication.
• Ability to work without supervision.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Overtime during certain peak seasons is required.
