POSITION SUMMARY

As the Operations Integration Leader - Mergers and Acquisition within Vertiv, you'll report to the EVP Global Operations and be responsible for leading all the strategic activities related to Mergers and Acquisitions within Operations, from due diligence through integration and delivery of the business case. This position is located in Westerville, OH.

By collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you'll represent Operations in due diligence, develop and execute a business case, and ensure seamless integration with Vertiv Operations through the Vertiv Operating System. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, has a strong Operational and financial planning background, and has experience in acquisition integration.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop an integration "playbook" for Vertiv Operations to ensure consistency of approach and execution.
  • Utilize experience in integrations to assess target Operations processes, harmonize disparate systems, and streamline operations post-acquisition in line with the Vertiv Operating System.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to facilitate a smooth transition, aligning Operations processes and systems to meet organizational goals post-acquisition.
  • Engage stakeholders across departments to ensure buy-in, understanding, and successful implementation of the integration plan.
  • Establish, track, and report on key integration metrics and KPIs to evaluate process performance and ensure integration effectiveness.
  • Ensure all activities comply with regulatory standards, internal policies, and industry best practices, actively mitigating potential risks.
  • Plan comprehensive training sessions to familiarize new team members with Vertiv processes and systems.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in global Operations, with a strong emphasis on process improvement and M&A integrations.
  • Proven people management abilities, ideally in scenarios that involve integrating diverse groups.
  • Proficiency in operations systems and tools, including ERP software (Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc) and data management tools.
  • Strong analytical skills are necessary to evaluate complex situations and devise effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
  • Experience with M&A processes is beneficial.
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or engineering. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
