Lincoln Electric is seeking an Operations Manager for our Euclid, OH headquarters. The Operations Manager will direct, lead, and coordinate the personnel and activities of our Additive Solutions Production Team. This pivotal role involves managing production schedules, ensuring quality compliance, and driving efficiency across all manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership abilities, technical expertise, and a commitment to excellence in a 24/7 production environment.

What You Will Do

  • Leadership & Coordination:
    • Lead and oversee the Additive Solutions Production Team, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with production goals.
    • Develop and implement training programs to maintain high standards of competency within the team.
    • Create and manage production schedules, tasks, and priorities to meet production targets, providing hands-on support as needed.
  • Production Management:
    • Understand and enforce manufacturing requirements, ensuring compliance with customer and quality specifications.
    • Monitor and evaluate production workmanship, identifying and addressing non-conformances to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Operational Support:
    • Collaborate with upstream and downstream operations to support seamless customer order fulfillment.
    • Track and optimize production efficiency, including material movement and inventory management.
  • System & Equipment Oversight:
    • Ensure proper use and maintenance of additive systems, equipment, tooling, and supplies.
    • Work with the engineering team to develop and refine manufacturing methods and equipment.
  • Personnel Management:
    • Oversee personnel selection, training, and qualification processes for various roles within the department.
    • Maintain accurate merit rating records, and manage personnel actions such as promotions, transfers, and disciplinary measures.
    • Address and resolve worker complaints, escalating unresolved issues to the General Manager as necessary.
  • Operational Flexibility:
    • Be available for occasional weekend, holiday, and night shift coverage, as well as on-call support, to effectively manage the 24/7 production environment.

Required Experience & Education:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; Technical or Engineering degree preferred.
  • Prior management or supervisory experience is essential. Experience with GMAW welding and robotic automation is a plus.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SAP, and Apriso.
  • Capable of performing all operator tasks, including occasional lifting of up to 60 pounds and wearing a respirator.
