Coordinates operations within the service area including performance of the check ride function, direct work activities and lead employees, provide training, coaching and mentoring to new and current employees. Perform associated administrative functions as required or directed, subject to approval of management. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

High school diploma/GED

Minimum Experience

Eighteen (18) months courier experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and verbal communication skills.

Job Conditions

Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned. Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations. Non-covered safety sensitive position. Medical exam required. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
