This includes the manufacturing of medium-power transformers, mobile transformers, mobile electrical substations, trailers, and unitized substations. We offer power transformers for utility applications including power and distribution, transmission voltages, system ties, and automatic voltage regulations, as well as industrial applications. Delta Star also provides comprehensive engineering, testing, maintenance services, and parts for any transformer manufacturer through our Field Service business unit, ensuring our customer's transformers and mobiles maintain peak performance.

Full-Time, On-site, Hourly position

Responsibilities:

Candidate must be able to:

• Use air assisted paint system.
• Prep parts and materials prior to painting to include: sanding, chipping, tapping and priming of tanks.
• Apply tar paint and anti-skid covers.
• Read prints to review paint specifications for component parts.
• Complete all necessary DIRs and paperwork under the supervision of higher level painters.

Requirements:

• At least one (2) years of experience in the field or related area; preferred.
• Willing and able to work overtime as required.
• Ability to interpret blueprints.
• Ability to follow all safety practices.
• Ability to maintain high standards of Quality & Production.
• Ability to climb a ladder and work at heights above 4 feet.
• Ability to regularly lift and move up to 60 lbs. with no assistance.
• Ability to work in all types of environmental conditions including heat, cold, dust, oil and vapor.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.
• Must have a positive attitude and foster a continuous improvement environment.
• Must be able to work well with others.
• Must have excellent attendance.

If hired, you will work the first three months under a probationary period. During this time attendance is crucial and we will not accommodate any prior trips or extended time off that you have planned.
