Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Steel Brandenburg is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Plate Finishing Manager. The Plate Finishing Manager's primary responsibility is to be a division leader at Nucor Steel Brandenburg. This individual will be responsible for supporting and facilitating the growth and development of the team, while leading a safe and profitable division. Through continually improving safety, team development, commercial excellence, productivity, and financial performance, the Plate Finishing Manager will serve the team and contribute to maximizing profitability for the Nucor Plate Group and across the enterprise. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US, Nucor Steel Brandenburg will not sponsor the need for a visa now or in the future.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Five years steel making leadership experience.
- Rolling Mill, Plate Finishing or Heat Treating experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Engineering, Material Sciences, or other technical related degrees
- Previous Manager Experience
