The BloodFlowLab of Dr. Oliver Bracko is recruiting a highly motivated and skilled postdoctoral associate to join our international and interdisciplinary team. The postdoctoral associate will contribute to our existing research projects focusing on contribution of microvascular inflammation to vascular contributions to cognitive impairment and dementia (VCID). This position offers an excellent opportunity to advance our understanding of immune cell-vascular interactions and their contribution to brain blood flow reductions and inflammation in VCID, utilizing in vivo multiphoton imaging. The applicant must hold a Ph.D. degree in a relevant field and have a strong background in molecular biology, image analyses, and microscopy. Prior knowledge of multiphoton microscopy is desired. Excellent spoken and written English is required. The successful candidate will lead projects, collaborate with internal and external collaborators, and mentor students.
