Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Principal QA Engineer:

• This is a 12-month contract role with a hybrid work model, requiring presence in the LA offices 2-3 days a week.

• Own the QA process for your teams or products, working closely with software engineers, content developers, artists, producers, project managers, and product leadership

• Develop quality activities for every stage of the software development life cycle, guided by our client's Test Policy

• Partner with your teams and other craft leaders to arrive at more efficient solutions to everyday problems and improve delivery

Required Skills for Principal QA Engineer:

• Video gaming industry background experience
• 8+ years Software Quality Assurance Experience, with multiple proven product successes
• Experience defining and implementing test approaches as part of an overall test strategy
• Experience coaching QA team members on test design, planning, and execution
• Experience driving continuous improvement processes within a team
• Experience tasking remote teams and providing feedback on effectiveness
• Preferred development experience across several platforms; mobile, console, and PC
• Preferred Certifications: ISTQB Foundation Level, ISTQB Agile Tester or ICAgile Agile Testing (ICP-TST), ISTQB Expert Level, ISTQB Advanced Test Manager, ICAgile Test Expert (ICE-AT)
