We offer merchants an end-to-end payments solution that provides authorization and settlement capabilities, as well as instant access to funds and payouts. We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

Job Description Summary:
In the World Ready team, we are on a mission to enable global content that is locally relevant to our customers, supporting PayPal's expansion into multiple markets. We are responsible for all product localization across 200+ countries, develop robust internationalization frameworks, and global content systems. As part of our effort to build experiences focused on end-to-end-communications with our customers, we are also responsible for crafting and delivering all system notifications sent to PayPal customers worldwide.

As a Technical Product Manager for Internationalization, you'll be at the forefront of developing and implementing strategies that enable PayPal to deliver global experiences that is not only culturally relevant but also compliant with local regulation in all our markets. You'll work with cross-functional teams to build, optimize, and evangelize tools, frameworks, and best practices for adapting our products for global markets.

Responsibilities

  • Assess the need across PayPal products for adoption of internationalization data and market data services
  • Define internationalization requirements and prioritize them based on business impact
  • Drive program execution using agile methodologies, creating epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria
  • Evangelize and inspire product teams to use internationalization standards & best practices
  • Collaborate with engineers and product teams to create a plan for integration of PayPal products with the latest and most appropriate Internationalization services. Over-see program execution
  • Evaluate and implement AI/ML solutions

Required skills and experience
  • 5+ years of product management experience in a technical environment
  • Good understanding of Internationalization standards and best practices
  • Experience in agile methodologies and ability to break them down into epics, user-stories and tasks
  • Has the technical depth to understand Internationalization frameworks, libraries and APIs and to be able to discuss them with engineering teams
  • Ability to prioritize and negotiate priorities based on customer & business outcomes
  • Good stakeholder management & communication skills
  • Understanding of AI/ML applications in Internationalization
