Job Description
Summary:
The Product Owner - Marketing Websites will be the single point of contact responsible for the marketing website's strategic direction and performance. This role involves close collaboration with the VP School Marketing and Web Strategy, UX team, marketing team, designers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the marketing websites effectively support the company's marketing objectives, drives engagement, and enhances user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the marketing website roadmap, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals and marketing initiatives.
- Gather and prioritize requirements from marketing stakeholders, including gathering customer and stakeholder feedback, prioritizing features, and making trade-offs based on the needs of the business.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to understand their goals and translate them into technical requirements for the development team.
- Work with CRO specialists, SEO specialists, UX researchers, UX designers, and UI creative to ensure the marketing website is user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for conversion.
- Partner with developers to ensure the timely and successful delivery of new website features and enhancements.
- Manage the product backlog, creating and prioritizing user stories based on changing business needs.
- Conduct regular user testing and analytics reviews to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of website updates and make data-driven recommendations.
- Identify and mitigate risks and roadblocks throughout the development process.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor websites, and emerging web technologies to continuously improve the marketing website.

- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in web development and digital marketing.
Supervisory Responsibilities:This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications:- Five (5) years of experience as a Product Owner.
- Five (5) years of experience in a business analyst role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing the development and launch of complex websites or digital products.
- Experience working closely with marketing teams to translate business objectives into technical requirements.
- Strong understanding of web development processes, including UX design, and UI creative, front-end development, and content management systems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project goals.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience in education technology or a related field.
- Experience with Agile and other methodologies and development tools.
- Familiarity with web analytics tools such as Heap, and Adobe Analytics.
- Familiarity with web testing tools such as VWO, and Optimizely.
- Ability to travel as needed (up to 10%).

Compensation & Benefits:Stride, Inc. considers a person's education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position's work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee's salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position's level and expected contribution, and the employee's benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.
We anticipate the salary range to be $74,054.25 to $118,486.80. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. This salary is not guaranteed, as an individual's compensation can vary based on several factors.
