Description: Large Manufacturing Company is looking for a 3rd Shift Production Supervisor for a small facility in Sioux City,. IA.
Job Summary ~
The Production Supervisor assists in the direction and management of the manufacturing facility with total charge of the operation in the absence of the Plant Manager. In addition, may be in direct charge of one or more areas of plant operations.
Essential Responsibilities ~
•Assists in the recruitment, selection, and orientation of new employee's development and discipline of established employees.
•Maintains professional liaison with customers; resolves customer issues or concerns.
•Monitors route efficiency making adjustments when necessary.
•Looks for opportunities to increase productivity efficiently and economically.
Qualifications ~
•High School diploma or equivalent required
• 3 + years of experience in a production/manufacturing facility.
• 2+ years in a leadership / supervisory capacity
