This is a unique Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgeon Faculty Opportunity to join the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery at
Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. Cardiothoracic Surgery is an integrated component of the
Heart Institute, a multidisciplinary unit within Cincinnati Children's. The selected candidate for this role will fulfill the primary surgical role at
Peyton Manning Childrens Hospital at Ascension St. Vincent, Indianapolis, Indiana. The surgeon will direct the development of and continued growth of the collaborative program alongside the medical director at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital.
The clinical faculty appointment will be consistent with the applicant's qualifications and experience for either the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Full Professor with the following:
Educational Experience and Requirements:
- M.D., D.O., degree or equivalent
- Successful completion of an ACGME accredited program in Thoracic Surgery with subspecialty training in an ACGME accredited congenital Cardia Surgery training program or the foreign equivalent of the same.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in congenital heart surgery
- Board Certified/ Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery and Congenital Heart Surgery or the international equivalent.
- Current active unrestricted medical license
- Appropriate medical credentialing through the Medical Staff Services offices
- Completion of all required pre-employment activities.
