Description

The Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago is seeking to appoint outstanding scholars to tenured positions in Economics with a focus in microeconomics, beginning in the 2024-25 academic year.

Qualifications

Applications are invited from individuals who have earned a PhD (or equivalent) in economics and have experience on the tenure-track faculty at a major research university.

Members of our faculty are expected to conduct original research of exceptionally high quality, to teach effectively, and to participate in and contribute to the academic environment at the University.

Application Instructions

Each candidate should submit a curriculum vitae, course evaluations from prior teaching, at least two samples of written work, a research statement, and the names of five scholars willing to evaluate the candidate's ability, research, and teaching.
