Paideia programming includes Paideia designated courses offered in all four undergraduate schools, an undergraduate fellows program, and events and co-curricular experiences that emphasize dialogue, community wellness, service, and citizenship.

The SNF Paideia Program Manager handles critical administrative and student-facing elements of SNF Paideia's academic programs, especially the undergraduate fellows program and SNF Paideia designated courses. This role works collaboratively with the entire SNF Paideia team, with a special emphasis on supporting the Fellows Director and the Executive Director.

The individual in this role will refine and develop strategies for managing program information to streamline workflow processes, ensure effective program implementation, and provide data to support ongoing program development and strategic decisions. The Program Manager manages the program's financial processes and works with the Executive Director to manage the overall program budget. The Program Manager oversees all office operations, including supervising a full-time Events and Administrative Coordinator and part-time student workers during the academic year. This position also involves important student-facing responsibilities, including student advising and developing a new alumni engagement initiative for SNF Paideia's relatively new fellows program.
This role requires extensive interaction with a wide variety of staff, faculty, and undergraduate and graduate students from across the university. The position reports to the Executive Director.Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Program information management: identifies and manages platforms for streamlining program information, metrics, and data analysis; this includes managing a range of program-related application processes and course-related information tracking; analyzes information to support communications and advise ongoing program development.
  • Financial management: manages or creates streamlined processes for providing funding for Paideia designated courses and student funding awards; works closely with Paideia's business office to ensure timely and accurate processing of funds and resolving questions or challenges; tracks and disseminates budget information to team members to ensure program delivery meets budget goals.
  • Student support and engagement: contributes to fellows program recruitment, tracks student progress toward certificate completion and advises undergraduate fellows on courses and funding; manages, with Executive Director, a student advisory board; oversees a student-led peer mentoring program; leads the creation and implementation of fellows alumni programming.
  • Academic coordination: Serves as primary liaison between Paideia and academic departments and registrar for Paideia course registration; stays informed on university registration processes and deadlines; builds strong relationships with academic departments and individual faculty members to trouble-shoot problems.
  • Office and staff management: Supervises administrative and events coordinator; supervises part-time student workers; oversees office procedures and financial activities, including budget administration, office purchasing, processing payments, and other special projects.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Arts and 2 to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Experience in higher education strongly preferred, with a focus on student services, information management, or related fields. Proficiency with information management software, project management tools, and survey platforms. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
