Program Operations Specialist - $23/hr-$26/hr - DC

Our client, a non-profit organization, is seeking a temporary Program Operations Specialist to support their team in Washington, DC!

About the Job:

• Maintain project documentation and perform tasks such as target research, fieldwork, and drafting team charters.
• Assist in adherence procedures including expense reconciliation, contractor payments, and account management.
• Coordinate logistics for project leaders and campaign directors across different time zones.
• Facilitate communication with the Department regarding meetings, travel, and other updates.
• Schedule department meetings, including all-program staff meetings, department brown bags, and in-person retreats.
• Manage databases to ensure accessibility and update documentation.

About You:

• 2+ years of experience in program, operations, or project management required.
• 2+ years of experience working in a social change or other related organization is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in project management software (preferably Asana), Slack, and Google Suite, with tech savviness.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in diverse teams and across different cultures and time zones.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a proactive, organized approach and strong critical thinking.

About the Position:

• $23/hr-$26/hr
• Temporary starting ASAP!
• This position is slated to last 4 months.
• 100% onsite in Washington, DC.
• Metro accessible office.
