Position Overview:
Join our team as a 2025 R&I Insulation Sustainability Intern, where you'll engage in the development of sustainable polyisocyanurate insulation panels. This role offers a hands-on experience in applying your academic knowledge in STEM to real-world sustainability challenges, contributing to innovative advancements in building materials.
Key Responsibilities:
* Formulate and test insulation panels using sustainable polyols.
* Conduct bench-scale chemistry and pilot-scale production.
* Perform statistical analyses and physical property tests.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and present findings.
Qualifications:
* Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Materials Science, Polymer Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, with a focus on sustainability preferred.
* Junior or senior academic standing with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
* Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
