JOB DESCRIPTION

  • To receive, inspect and record shipments with products and supplies for both the hotel and guests. You will be responsible for lost and found standard operating procedures and ensuring the guest has the lost item and satisfied in guest satisfaction. You will be responsible for unloading packages and checking their contents to ensure they match the orders. You will be responsible for shipping out all packages and logging them in follow up with accountability they arrive to destinations.
  • The receiving clerk must have a great eye for detail and basic math skills, organization and guest service skills. They must also have adequate physical strength to unload shipments as well as the clerical skills to update records and follow up with suppliers.
  • The goal is to ensure we receive the correct packages and stock them appropriately, take care of all lost and found guest issues and maintain organizational logs for a check and balance of what is shipped into the hotel and out.

Qualifications
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as receiving clerk or similar position required
  • Working knowledge of Computer programs for logging and entering data
  • Excellent Organizational skills
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food handling certificate.
  • Ability to communicate in English with guests, co-workers and management to their understanding.
  • Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to provide legible communication
