Applicants must be within driving distance to one of the MMA Southeast office locations and able to commute to various offices as needed.
A day in the life.
As a Regional EH&B LOB Trainer, you will:
- Collaborate with Operations to develop and deliver ongoing colleague enrichment training, including refresher courses on core content and the introduction of intermediate and advanced subject matter.
- Develop teaching aids, including training materials, reference materials and visual aids in various training formats (e.g., PowerPoint, Flipbook, Brainshark, Camtasia recorded modules).
- Encourage ongoing colleague development by promoting engagement with self-guided content on our national training platform.
- Coordinate training initiatives by developing training plans, managing timelines, tracking progress, and ensuring all activities are completed on schedule.
- Lead the onboarding training process for new colleagues with Operations and subject matter experts, aligning with MMA and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with Operations, Human Resources and other stakeholders to identify knowledge gaps and ensure successful fulfilment talent development needs.
- Maintain current knowledge of new product offerings and changes in the EH&B Insurance industry.
Our future colleague.We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Learning & Development or a related field, or equivalent professional experience (3+ years) in health insurance at an agency/broker or carrier.
- Prior training experience preferred; however, 5+ years of relevant experience in employee health & benefits with demonstrated proficiency in related disciplines will be strongly considered.
- CEBS certification and project management experience are a plus.
- Experience presenting to diverse groups across multiple skill levels.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong organizational abilities to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, demonstrating successful follow-through on deliverables.
- Strong knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM), agency management systems (AMS), and learning management systems (LMS), such as Sagitta, ImageRight, Applied Epic, Salesforce, and Appinium; experience with comparable products will also be considered.
- Prior experience with eLearning authoring software (e.g., Camtasia, Adobe Captivate) is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly MS PowerPoint and MS Excel.
- Ability to travel to regional offices (35%+)
