Job Description Summary / TWC Summary:The Coordinator position is an on-call position that requires the ability to work a flexible schedule that often exceeds 40 hours per week. The Coordinator is responsible for managing survey center activities and coordinating all Survey Research Center publications. The Coordinator assists in the supervision of intellectual and developmental research and programs.
This is a Grant Funded position.
Essential Duties Summary:
- Assists Director with program management.
- Provide data reporting and analysis for institutional administrators and decision-makers.
- Monitors program(s) and staff compliance with all university policies and procedures including all regulatory standards.
- Establishes data tracking and collection methods that ensure accuracy and validity in the final analyses.
- Assists in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of staff.
- Conducts and publishes scholarly research. Supervises student researchers.
- Develops educational and training materials, presents educational materials on various aspects of programs, and provides technical assistance as required.
- Ensures the development and implementation of individual program plans and activities.
- Manages program budget as assigned
- Directs and ensures effectiveness of program's daily operations including incident management.
- Assists in the development of data collection methods to report and monitor program activities, analyzes data to determine if the activities provided are meeting program goals.
- Serves as a liaison with external public agencies, particularly in relation to their advisory and financial support of center, including working in fundraising relating to memberships in center and sponsorships of center activities and related to the university and college development/capital campaign.
- Coordinates activities of center with other projects, departments and staff to ensure optimum efficiency and compliance with appropriate policies, procedures and specifications.
- Conduct surveys and collects data, using methods that may include phone interviews, questionnaires, market analysis surveys, internet search techniques and review of industry publications.
- Review, classify, and record survey data in preparation for computer analysis.
- Perform data entry into database and other clerical work as required for task completion.
- Verify the accuracy and validity of data; correct any errors.
- Collaborate with other researchers on the implementation, and completion of survey research.
- Compose reports or news briefs summarizing completed research.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Hiring Range:$59,442.00 - $75,788.56
Education:Bachelor's degree required.
Required Licensing/Certification:A valid driver's license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle to attend trainings, meetings, and/or transport individuals to appointments.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Proven record of strong research and writing skills
Work Experience:
- A minimum of one (1) year of paid experience conducting research and writing and/or publishing required.
- A minimum of one (1) year experience in budget management required.
- At least one (1) year supervision/management experience.
Working/Environmental Conditions:
- Be able to work flexible hours to meet individual and program needs.
- Be able to travel to trainings/meetings upon request.
