Summary:

The Rotary Molder Chiller (RMC) operator is required ensure that the cheese is within specification through in process testing and monitoring; ensure proper mold sizes are used per the production make sheet; ensure cheese blocks are molded into the proper size and weight; operator will be responsible for completing mold changes on the RMC equipment; ensure all equipment safe guards are in place and functioning properly; responsible to follow all safety procedures including LOTO; responsible for RMC clean up when the day's production is complete; responsible to maintain a clean and organized work area at all times; complete and maintain accurate required documentation associated with the RMC process; must perform any other duties as assigned; always adheres to all USDA, GMP and Human Safety and Food Safety regulations.

Job requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent or a minimum of (2)-two years of demonstrated work experience in food manufacturing, dairy food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Advanced quality/food safety training and/or certifications is a plus, but not required.
• Strong math skills.
• Strong PC skills, MS Excel and ERP applications, SAP a plus.
• Strong technical skills, ability to operate and understand equipment controls, touch panels and mechanical operations.
• Possess lift truck certification or ability to obtain lift truck certification (Powered Industrial Trucks).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated work history.
• Consistent attendance is a must.

Physical Demands

• Ability to work in manufacturing environment which includes but not limited to: noise, changing temperatures (hot, wet, cold, humid), standing/walking/bending/stooping/climbing stairs, maneuvering around manufacturing equipment consistently throughout the shift.
• Working with chemicals, wearing personal protective equipment and following approved chemical handling procedures.
• Good visual acuity with the ability to see color.
• Physical lifting up to 45-lbs frequently throughout the shift. Ability to lift 50+ lbs with assistance.
• Shift flexibility. This is a hands-on role for a 24/7 manufacturing facility. Our equipment operators are assigned to a team on a shift, 24/7 operation to support manufacturing. This can either be days, swing or night shift and weekends. Workdays and shifts may change to help cover days off, vacations or absences, during plant downtime or related events such as audits.

Hourly Range: $29.63 - $34.91
