The Judge Group is seeking a RN-Transplant Coordinator in Charlotte, NC

Job Summary:

• Assures that required tests are completed and reviewed per transplant specific protocols.
  
• Analyzes test results and diagnostic studies and develops a plan that prescribes strategies to obtain expected measurable outcomes.
  
• Interprets eligibility criteria to identify high-risk recipients and donors; schedules appropriate consultations to ensure all health needs are met prior to transplant.
  
• Communicates eligibility with multidisciplinary team
  
• Identifies and communicates health related problems that may increase
  
• transplant related morbidity and mortality.
  
• Coordinates procurement of donor cells/organs while complying with HIPPA standards
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  
• Current RN - license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state in which you work
  
• Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
• 5 years nursing experience including critical/acute care preferred, and experience in at least one of the following: end stage organ disease, solid organ transplantation, hematology, and/or blood and marrow transplantation
  
• Previous management experience preferred
  
• Ability to obtain and maintain the American Board of Transplant Coordination Certification (CCTC) preferred, required within two years of employment.
