Sanitation Team Member

The sanitation team member will be responsible for various janitorial and sanitation activities within a GMP food manufacturing facility 5 days a week Monday-Friday.

What You'll Do:
  • Clean office area, restrooms, break room, rest rooms, and hallways per our master sanitation schedule.
  • Removal of production waste generated throughout the day.
  • Stocking of required GMP supplies for the production team.
  • Assist in managing GMP supply inventory.
  • Perform non-routine cleaning tasks including but not limited to cleaning transfer bins, cleaning drains in non-production areas, and cleaning of non-production areas.
  • Assist in cleaning of warehouse spaces.
  • Utilize good documentational practices to record cleaning activities.
  • Utilize floor scrubber around the facility.
The Qualifications:
  • Demonstrate proper clock management and maintain strong attendance.
  • Ability to read and follow procedures (in English or Spanish).
  • Maintain close concentration and visual attention to assigned tasks.
  • You must be willing and able to follow instructions.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with smart phones and tablets.
Physical Requirements:
  • Physical dexterity, ability to lift up to 45 lbs and push/pull trash hoppers.
  • The ability to work in varied environmental conditions (dry, cold)
  • The ability to stand and work on feet for 8 to 10 hours at a time
  • Must be able to identify, assess and observe detail
  • Ability to communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectively.
  • Ability to squat, kneel, bend and twist
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
  • Allergens: We prepare products with milk and sesame containing ingredients. Team members must be able to work with these ingredients.
