Position Summary
This role will drive key performance indicators to enhance organizational focus on contracting and pricing strategies/execution necessary to support the US Infusion, Infusion Systems, and Solutions Sales Organizations. The GPO Senior Analyst is accountable for price and contract strategy development and evaluation of ICU Medical's US Devices (including hardware, disposables, software, and services) as well as IV Solutions, and Infusion pricing execution and contracting strategies through agreements.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Key performance indicators will inform the business regarding contract turnaround time, most frequently negotiated contract clauses, effectiveness of pricing strategies (quote tool), the robustness of the opportunity pipeline, the effectiveness of operational improvements (example: MedNet and ESA billings), and overall performance of the contracting effort.
• Lead large corporate Infusion and Solution deals.
• Accountable for working with the Device Sales Organization, the US Device Business Unit, IV Solutions Business Unit and the Major Accounts Executive team to provide analytical support and identify strategic exceptions and/or maximize opportunities to grow sales and margin within defined parameters.
• This collaborative role will need to interface effectively with leadership in sales, services, finance, legal, and other functions to ensure optimal cross-function communication and cooperation.
• Work on special projects as assigned.
Knowledge & Skills
• Significant knowledge base in and experience with the US medical device business, ICU Medical Customer base, and GPO landscape.
• Ability to communicate effectively with sales, Customers, and internal functional departments to ensure Customer centricity and speed in support of the US device and Major Account Executive sales teams.
• Strong analytical skills and creative approach to developing effective sales tools to support the business.
• Strong negotiation skills.
Minimum Qualifications, Education & Experience
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 8-10 years' experience in the medical industry with 6+ years' experience in Contracting preferred.
Work Environment
• This is largely a sedentary role.
• This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
This role is based remotely; the incumbent may be remote in any state other than Colorado; California; Connecticut; Montana, Maine or New York
