Position: Senior Data Analyst
Job Location: 702 SW 8th Street, Bentonville, AR 72712
Duties: Analyzes and interprets information for one or more initiative work streams to improve business efficiency by using various analytical methodologies; developing creative solutions within business areas that reduce cost and/or meet business goals; using judgment to assign what activities must be done; and ensuring data accuracy. Develops and directs one or more work streams of a cross-functional project to achieve desired results by ensuring understanding of scope of work; organizing timelines and deliverables; facilitating meetings involving project teams to analyze, plan, and implement project initiatives; taking corrective action; and reporting results and deliverables to supervisors and stakeholders. Collaborates cross-functionally on assignments with internal and external stakeholders to understand the results of data analyses and research by communicating results and findings. Develops tools that support decision making and business cases by summarizing needed information; determining what information must be reported; ensuring customer needs are met; and analyzing an initiative's impact to the business. Assumes duties of Project Manager III, Innovation in the absence of the Project Manager III, Innovation by attending meetings; working directly with the project team members on specific projects and analyses; performing analyses; providing directional advice and guidance related to defined logistical issues; and determining which issues should be elevated to a higher priority.
Minimum education and experience required: 4 years of experience in data analytics or related experience OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field plus 2 years of experience in data analytics or related experience.
Skills required: Must have experience with: Data extraction and analysis with the development of queries using SQL Big Query language; Alteryx as a ETL tool (Extract, Transform and Load) to transform, enrich and analyze big data; Audit planning, fieldwork and wrap up documentation using AuditBoard; Data preparation, data modeling and development of dashboards and reports using Power BI; Data extraction, enrichment and table creation using Google Big Query; Data extraction, transformation and loading using Tableau Prep; Data analysis and extraction using SAP; Discovery Data and Data Enrichment using tools such as SAP, Power BI, SQL, Alteryx, M, or DAX; Statistical techniques to develop data analysis; Data cleaning and enrichment using M and DAX languages; and Finance and Accounting including interpreting financial data and drawing insights from it. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
