Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Senior IT Project Manager:
- Provide project management for Waterfall development projects
- Manage IT PMO administrative tasks such as project planning, stakeholder management, risk management, capital reporting, and status reporting
- Follow up on project deliverables and manage project timelines
- This is a one-year contract position with the potential for extension
- A degree in Tech, MIS, or a related field is required
Required Skills for Senior IT Project Manager:
- Experience in project financials, time entry, invoice tracking, actuals/forecasting, and resource capacity planning
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Planview, Clarity, etc.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Ability to build customer confidence and increase customer satisfaction
- 7-10 years' experience in full SDLC systems software development and implementation or a comparably complex technical area
