The Senior Manager, Service Coordination for Leica Biosystems is responsible for overseeing the Service Coordination team and driving optimization and efficiencies in processes and strategies.
This position is part of the Service Coordination Team located in Deer Park, IL and will be onsite. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Manage Service Coordination team in planning and scheduling of field resources for Installations, Preventative Maintenance, and Customer moves while balancing the urgent needs of a complex customer base for emergency instrument repairs.
Support and develop team through Performance for Growth and Development for Growth Process and manage all performance or employee relations needs or concerns.
Collaborate with Technical Support (TAC), Field Service, Sales, and Applications to foster an excellent customer service experience.
Responsible for proactive communication of scheduling changes with impacts to revenue.
Oversee customer move requests with Service Management, Logistics and Customer.
Identify and drive continuous improvement through effective utilization of DBS principles/tools such as daily/visual management, PSP, kaizen, and standard work.
Openly and actively support business initiatives and change within the Service organization.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor's degree
A minimum of 5 years prior supervisory (direct reports) experience
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
Ability to travel - 10% overnight travel.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Sales Force experience
Prior Dispatch or call center experience
Diagnostics and/or Medical Device Industry.
