Role Description
Position Summary:
The role of a Precision Animal Health (PAH) Senior Product Lead is to manage and scale B2C, digital, D2C/e-commerce products. The successful candidate will have significant experience related to consumer products with a strong emphasis to animal health experience. The position requires scaling teams in a hyper growth and revenue acceleration period. Customers should be your focus while utilizing the power of technology to improve and drive animal health caregivers lives and operations. The successful candidate will be comfortable in defining long-term product vision while being able to manage tactile technical discussions with a matrixed organization. This position will help drive that product vision through strategy, design, data and system management.
Position Resonsibilities:
Oversee every step of the product development lifecycle across functional areas of the product suite across their team (Growth, Design, Product Analytics, Engagement/Accounts, and Scalability). That includes product ideation, strategic planning, tactical initiatives, product vision, product strategy, consumer research and insights, product roadmap, product design, product development, new initiative development, management of day-to-day software lifecycle, and product GTM.
Responsible for the strategic input at all parts of the process, with senior strategic decisions escalated to this level and team members empowered to own decisions within their functional areas
Responsible for the roadmap and strategic vision for how our product suite can evolve to hit larger revenue goals and strategic objectives
Responsible for (or mentors Product team members on) clearly defining product requirements and creating associated documentation, including business case and rationale, success metrics, acceptance criteria, testing requirements, exit/release planning, and GTM support
Responsible for the Data and Analytics team, tracking post-release success metrics and maintaining detailed, documented product backlogs, feature specifications, and technical documents, while translating backlog priorities to strategic roadmaps across the entire product suite.
Organizational Relationship
This position requires communication directly with marketing, lab operations, engineering, R&D and other cross-functional stakeholders.

Education and Experience
- 10+ years of experience in Consumer Technology Product Development (Product Management, Product Marketing, General Manager, Software Development and/or Management Consulting) at a B2C or D2C consumer technology company, or 12+ years of professional experience plus advanced degree
Significant experience leading and working with Technical Engineering, Data Science, Product Design, and Product Analytics teams
Depth of experience building (and developing junior Product team members on) strategic product roadmaps, testing plans and experiment roadmaps, to learn about optimization opportunities across the product lifecycle / digital ecosystem
Demonstrated experience owning full P&L responsibility
Past experience building and scaling out organizational development strategies
Deep understanding of emerging technologies in consumer products
Expert in prioritization for ambiguous objectives in complex technical environments
Technical RequirementsExcellent written and oral communication skills to interact effectively with customers (internal and external).
Experience with data integration and management.
Expert in analytical methods (SQL, Excel required (or proficiency to ramp rapidly) - Python preferred), mentors team and cross-functional partners on best practices for interpreting data and qualitative research, and distilling into actionable takeaways
