Job Title:Senior Program Coordinator, Buck-I-SERVDepartment:Student Life | Student Activities Administration

Oversee the planning and implementation of the Buck-I-SERV (alternative breaks) program with an over $250,000 annual budget; Provides leadership in the development, coordination, and execution of all program related activities; Serves as a resource and liaison for departmental and campus partners with vested interests in Buck-I-SERV. Supervises a 20+ member student board to coordinate 30+ trips and 15 medium-scale events annually.

Coordinates administrative duties related to Buck-I-SERV programs; Leads Workday processes, including spend authorizations, requisitions, and expense reports; Manages financial processes and documentation including overall budget; Coordinates the reconciliation of complex financial reports including international travel and monetary conversions; Oversees the use of 30+ group travel expense (GET) cards annually; Manages, tracks, and guides professional staff and student leaders on GET card use and record keeping.

Oversees all logistical details for 30+ week-long trips during the university's winter, spring, and summer breaks, as well as the locally based fall break experience; Facilitates space reservations and other logistics for meetings, trainings, and program events; Manages marketing and communications efforts including social media.

Sustains campus and community partnerships; Liaises with campus partners including Office of International Affairs (OIA), Second-Year Transformational Experience Program (STEP), Student Life Development, and Alumni Relations; Builds and sustains relationships with dozens of international and national service sites; Coordinates contracts and logistics with community partners including ScholarTrip and Enterprise.

Serves as an expert resource for OIA and STEP staff working with Buck-I-SERV; Develops, maintains, manages risk management processes with OIA; Ensures risk compliance with U.S. state department guidelines and liability considerations for international travel within high risk countries; Facilitates materials, trainings, and approvals for STEP as a key partner within students' signature projects; Manages, trains, and coordinates to provide expert support for 30+ professional staff annually who advise Buck-I-SERV trips.

Leads the recruitment, selection, and training of 350+ student participants and 60+ student leaders; Manages application systems and review process; Provides general advising and education on ethical service, leadership, and community engagement; Recruits, selects, and advises 20+ student leaders who assist with the planning and implementation of domestic Buck-I-SERV trips; Develops and facilitates trainings, meetings, and weekly curriculum for student leader development.

Supervises hourly student project lead(s); Represents Buck-I-SERV and Leadership and Community Engagement at events, tabling commitment, and presentations across campus; Manages gift funds and distribution process for student access funds; Leads on-call and risk management processes; Conducts program assessment and evaluation; Holds one of two departmental PCards for Leadership and Community Engagement.

Minimum Education Required Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Additional Education Desired Master's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Qualifications: Years of relevant experience required 4

Preferred minimum years of relevant experience: 4-8

Desired: Masters degree in Higher Education, College Student Personnel or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience; knowledge of student development theory; knowledge of service-learning theory and social justice issues; knowledge of and experience in working with alternative break programming; experience working in large collegiate setting.
