Senior Specialist, Internal Communications

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Senior Specialist, Internal Communications for a 6 month + contract.

Scope of work:

• Provide Global Security organization with communications support and subject matter expertise to broaden awareness and adoption of existing and upcoming tools, resources, and capabilities, and to drive cohesion in messaging across Global Security's programs and projects.

• Participate in strategy sessions to define desired outcomes, approaches, communications channels, key stakeholders and other requirements. Leverage insights gained from strategy sessions to build communications plans and drive execution of these plans.

• Partner with the Corporate Communications Business Partner to ensure all communications and collateral align with brand requirements and internal culture norms.

• Engage with key stakeholders across the enterprise to include Global Security leadership, Corporate Communications, Commercial Communications, Human Resources, Legal & Compliance, and others as required.

• Coordinate all aspects of the delivery of communication plans to include building and briefing a communications plan, building PowerPoint decks and other informational materials, guiding design professionals (internal and external) on desired outcomes of visual graphics, and facilitating the procurement and delivery of supporting collateral and materials (i.e., banners, posters, handout cards, give-away items) to various global events.

Deliverables:

• With support from Global Security and Corporate Communications, oversee, coordinate, and deliver a comprehensive communications plan and accompanying materials associated with the Global Lighthouse program to various global annual sales meetings by early January 2025.

o Develop a multi-channel communications plan.

o Coordinate execution of the communications plan and accompanying actions to include ensuring all deadlines are met on time and on budget.

• Support Global Security's additional communication requirements which may include updating Global Security's internal SharePoint page, drafting employee communications in advance of, during or after a crisis event, or other duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 7+ years of work experience in communications, marketing and/or branding area preferred, event marketing or event management experience a plus

• Ability to communicate with and understand business needs and articulate those needs in a strategy and plan

• Problem solver with creative approach to proactive identification and resolution of issues

• Strong quantitative and analytical skills and ability to analyze and measure success

• Execution-oriented, self-starter and self-navigator who can prioritize high-value projects versus tasks in a fast-paced environment and balance demands of multiple projects

• Very responsive, with a customer-centric / solutions-oriented approach and the ability to serve a wide range of needs within the organization and at all levels
