We are seeking a talented individual to join our Underwriting team at Torrent Technologies. This role will be based in Overland Park, Kalispell, or Remote.
The Senior Underwriter will play a crucial role in applying complex National Flood Insurance Program rules and regulations to individual flood insurance policies, ensuring compliance and consistency in performance.
We will count on you to:
- Apply complex National Flood Insurance Program rules and regulations to individual flood insurance policies.
- Consistently implement Standard Operating Procedures to ensure regular positive performance.
- Review and analyze flood insurance applications for accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve underwriting issues and improve processes.
What you need to have:
- Proven experience in underwriting (5+ Years), specifically with flood insurance policies (2+Years).
- Strong understanding of National Flood Insurance Program regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
