Job Description:

As a Senior Software Engineer in this contingent resource role, you will:

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering.
• Review and analyze multifaceted, large-scale, or long-term Software Engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors.
• Contribute to resolving complex and multifaceted situations by understanding the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements to meet deliverables.
• Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
• Experience with both mainframe and distributed (modern software engineering) tech stacks.
• 5+ years of experience in COBOL, CICS, DB2 (and related tools like BMC, Platinum, SPUFI), JCL (Job Control Language), and IBM mainframe.
• 5+ years of systems analysis or applications programming experience.
• 5+ years of experience with File-Aid, IBM Debug, IBM Fault Analyzer, and SORT.
• 3+ years of experience with Job Schedule Management tools (ZEKE, Control-M).
• 3+ years of experience with Change Management tools (Changeman, Endevor).
• 2+ years of experience with SDLC, Agile, Kanban, or Lean methodology.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of full stack application development experience.
• 3+ years of Core Java development, including Spring Frameworks, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful or SOAP web services.
• 2+ years of experience developing Microservices and using JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular).
• 2+ years of experience with cloud technologies, microservices architecture, API integrations, and event-based processes (e.g., Kafka).
• 2+ years of RDBMS experience using Oracle DB.
• 1+ year of experience with MongoDB.
• Experience in Wealth Management and/or Portfolio Management & Trading applications.
• 3+ years of Agile experience, including working in an Agile environment, product backlog refinement, Agile at scale, and conducting discoveries and process improvements.
• SDET skills and familiarity with automated software testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright), and experience developing JUnit, JEST test cases.
• 3+ years of experience with SDLC tools and processes, including GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonar, Maven, Harness, or Gradle.
• BA/BS/BE degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering.
