RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is looking for a Software Engineer for a contract to hire opportunity with an organization in Mission, KS. The ideal candidate will have a good balance of SQL and C# Development skills.Day to Day Responsibilities:- Software Engineer will work with stakeholders to define requirements for reports
- Designs report visuals and collaborates with development staff to ensure that requisite data is available in the system
- Designs, enhances, and maintains existing reporting infrastructure to improve presentation of reporting data to internal and external customers
- Research existing trends in reporting visuals and recommends products and software development efforts that can improve and expand our reporting/data analytics infrastructure
- As a Software Engineer, you will develop queries and stored procedures required to generate datasets for report visualization
- Works and functions effectively as a member of a team or small group, specifically in Agile-based teams for software development
REQUIREMENTS:
- B.S. or M.S. In Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Experience with reporting visuals
- Experience with SQL development
- Experience with C# development
- Experience with SQL Server (2014, 2017, and higher)
- Experience with Crystal Reports, Microsoft RDL/RDLC, Power BI, and any other reporting visual tools
- Ability to read manuals, technical whitepapers, requirements documents, etc., and deliver development solutions that meet quality assurance standards
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
