What You'll Bring

• 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience, in a client-facing or consulting environment
• Development experience in front-end and back-end programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, C#, Java, Kotlin or Swift
• Proficiency with multiple programming environments and tools
• Familiarity with developing multi-platform software
• Display passion for delivering high quality products that meet customer's needs, the craft of software development and a drive to improve technically
• Strong problem-solving and software triage skills with the ability to work multi-functionally in a fast-moving and constantly evolving work environment
• Desire to continuously learn and grow to develop modern software solutions
• Knowledge of agile methodologies
• Experience with RESTful web services and APIs
• Experience with common JavaScript libraries (React, Vue, Angular, jQuery)
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB, CouchDB, etc.)
• Experience with DevOps processes (Continuous Integration/Delivery/Deployment, Automation, etc.)
• Familiarity with modern, cloud-based solutions in AWS, GCP or Azure
• Basic understanding of AI-assisted software engineering practices (GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, etc.), with a strong willingness to deepen AI development expertise

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with client and other Slalom team members to develop applications that provide measurable business value to our clients
• Build technical acumen across the stack through hands-on experience with the latest technologies and delivery methodologies
• Work in a fast-paced, agile project environment with small, focused teams
• Write the code to deliver solution-focused, outcome-orientated projects in collaboration with a highly skilled team
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to peers, less experienced engineers, and client personnel
• Be an active member of a growing team; help define and influence team culture & standards
• Engage with other Slalom team members through internal meetings, demos and events
