Job Title: SQL Reporting Analyst 

Location: Remote 

Overview: Our top client in the hospitality industry is looking to add a SQL Reporting Analyst to their Digital Solutions team. This role involves writing complex SQL queries, ensuring data validity, and creating reports in MS Excel or BI tools like Tableau/PowerBI. You'll collaborate with business analysts and owners, assist with project management tasks, and troubleshoot reporting issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write and test complex SQL queries and stored procedures to meet business requirements.
  • Develop data models and create meaningful reports to enhance reporting capabilities.
  • Validate data accuracy and consistency for internal and external clients.
  • Collaborate with business analysts/owners to ensure reports meet user needs.
  • Assist with data mapping for ad-hoc reports and troubleshoot reporting issues.
  • Review and optimize existing queries and procedures for performance improvements.
  • Convert ad-hoc reports into standardized reports in collaboration with BI developers.
  • Maintain and distribute regularly scheduled reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in developing complex SQL queries.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL Server (e.g., SSIS).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookup, functions, etc.).
  • Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management is a plus.

Additional Information:

  • Project Management Certification is a plus but not required.
