Senior Advanced Engineering Technician

Contract Position
Senior Advanced Engineering Technician job in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania is available with Moseley Technical Services Top Defense company. In this job you will contribute to state-of-the-art technologies for Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance systems supporting the Army, Navy, Air Force, Special Forces, and other Federal Government agencies.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor junior technicians in designing, testing, and fabricating electro-mechanical systems, experimental circuitry, laser/light transmission devices, and specialized test equipment.
- Interpret complex engineering drawings, diagrams, and schematics for system interfaces.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting at the system and component levels.
- Execute testing, checkout, and troubleshooting based on schematics, layouts, and plans.
- Build, calibrate, adjust, install, and maintain equipment, components, and systems.
- U.S. Citizen with Active Secret security clearance
- Associate's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in engineering support roles.
- Proficient understanding and interpretation of complex specifications, standards, and engineering requirements.
- Skilled in troubleshooting, testing, and maintaining advanced equipment and systems.
