Job Description Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director to join the SMB Business Solutions team as the Strategic Partner Leader. In this role, you will be responsible for deeply understanding, and contributing to, the Business Solutions strategy and identifying, onboarding and managing partners that enable new capabilities, expand our distribution and extend our customers' reach.

Our team leads the strategy and commercialization of new offerings in conjunction with product, engineering, design, marketing and other teams.

Your way to impact
  • Partner with Commercial Leaders in Business Solutions to define the overall strategy with a focus on representing the capabilities of new and existing partnerships.
  • Become the subject matter expert for the partner landscape, which includes a broad understand of the companies in our target capability areas across our core markets, emerging solutions from relevant start-ups and competitive actions.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to successfully Integrate new partnerships that materially advance or augment the Business Solutions strategy.

Your day-to-day
  • Partner closely with Commercial Leads and Product to define and execute the Business Solutions strategy.
  • Partner closely with Sales (Strategic Partnerships), Business Development and Geography Leads to continuously assess the partner landscape and clarify roles and responsibilities for partner engagement.
  • Engage fully in the partner development lifecycle, which includes: identifying potential strategic partners (inbound and proactively); performing capability reviews to determine strategic fit; facilitating development of outcome models; actively participating in partner terms alignment and contract negotiations; and integrating new partners into the PayPal ecosystem.
  • Track progress against key partner performance milestones and jointly define and implement action plans when outcomes are not meeting expectations.
  • Monitor competitor partnership activities.

$143400 to $285450
