Practice Management/US Oncology FP&A is responsible for the planning, forecasting, and reporting for >2,000 Oncology providers across the country and driving insightful analytics to support future growth in Oncology. McKesson is seeking a Sr. Director of Finance to lead the FP&A team for Practice Management/US Oncology.

The Sr. Director, Practice Management FP&A will own all budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for Practice Management/US Oncology. This role will be responsible for developing insightful analytics to drive transparency in financial performance across key product lines, customers, and spending categories, along with providing recommendations to enhance profitability. This leader will also drive improvements to financial reporting objectives such as enhancing the rolling forecast process and will work cross functionally across finance and various operations teams to align stakeholder objectives with strong financial performance.

This position will have two direct reports and multiple indirect reports. The leader will develop a high performing and highly engaged, results oriented team, as well as attract strong talent in accordance with McKesson's I2CARE and ILEAD framework.

The Sr. Director, Practice Management FP&A is a trusted business partner to the Practice Management/US Oncology Leadership Team and will work collaboratively across the organization to produce transparent and actionable insight for strategic decision making. This person will lead financial discussions and create/deliver presentations with LT members and their teams outlining financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead forecasting, planning, reporting, and analytics for the Practice Management/US Oncology business unit
  • Provide financial variance analytics tied to key performance indicators to business partners to enable financially prudent decision making
  • Develop / enhance rolling forecast to align with key performance indicators and strategic objectives of Practice Management/US Oncology business unit
  • Enhance analytical processes and capabilities to drive more insightful drug margin, product line, and customer profitability reporting, as well as provide actionable recommendations for profit enhancement
  • Coordinate and collaborate with multiple finance and accounting teams, including accounting, PSaS and Corporate FP&A, valuations, finance operations, and other Finance organizations to allow for thorough understanding of financial performance
  • Lead and develop a high-performing and highly engaged team
  • Ensure high quality employee attraction and development at all levels, building bench strength through modeling of I2CARE/ILEAD.
  • Assist with other duties as required

Minimum Education & Work Experience:
  • 13+ years finance experience including 6+ years managerial experience

  • Bachelor's degree preferably within Finance or Accounting

  • Strategic thinker and ability to communicate complex topics to various audiences
  • Ability to influence without authority and problem solve independently.

  • Proven success in building effective business partnerships at the senior level
  • Must have strong quantitative and analytical thinking skills
  • Attention to detail, coupled with a keen sense of the big picture
  • Results-oriented, with a strong customer-service ethic
  • Excellent communication skills; verbal and written
  • Willing to challenge common assumptions.
  • Eager to pitch in and assist as necessary to help the team accomplish functional and corporate goals.

Salary: 154,700.00 - 206,300.00 - 257,900.00 USD Annual with 25% MIP
