Volt is immediately hiring a Sr. Engineering Project Manager to support a key client, located in Beasley, TX.
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organizing and directing the work of several projects, maintaining coordination during the project life cycle, and reviewing work for adherence to company standards of excellence. In addition, you will:
- Define and document entire PMO Office project scope(s), objectives, and desired outcome with assistance from allocated Project Manager.
- Set and manage stakeholder expectations, both internally and externally.
- Oversee and ensure project budgets are aligned based on project scope.
- Ensure and adhere to each PMO Office project budgetary allocation.
- Work with Executive leadership and key Stakeholders to ensure project ideation and planning is understood and supported at the Business level.
- Be the main source of contact for internal and external stakeholder communication escalations.
- Be responsible for budget allocation and adherence.
- Be responsible for PMO Office Quality adherence.
- Hire the right team, internally or externally, and provide training and coaching, if needed.
- Estimate resource requirement, acquire it effectively and manage efficiently.
- Manage PMO team's day-to-day operations.
- Be responsible for evaluating project performance.
This is a
full-time, direct-hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field.
- PMP certification a must!
- Lean Six Sigma certification and/or experience.
- At least 10 years of project management experience with manufacturing companies.
- Thorough knowledge of PMP methodologies or frameworks (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Knowledge of pump skids and electrical experience desired.
- Strong technical, organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Advanced Excel skills required.
- Analytics and dashboard experience a plus.
Salary: $100,000- $130,000 per year *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
